Maintaining vision, value and strategy of the Mekong MDP network which is building based on needs, challenges and initiatives from (existing networks of) indigenous based organizations (IBOs), local non governmental organizations (LNGOs) in the Mekong region;

Linking with researchers, academics, progressive media, activists as well as funding organizations (ICCO, Oxfam, ect) to support values and strategies of Mekong MDP network;

Bridging information and findings from different case studies on mining, dam building and plantations among the Mekong regional countries to ADB, WB, ASEAM and APEC, etc;

Crossboder public awareness raising via sharing knowledge, initatives, voices and images of indigenous communities affected from massive development interventions (e.g. mining exploitation, hydropower dams and commercial plantation) within the Mekong region;

Coordinating and facilitating strategic planning from three sectors within the Mekong MDP network (e.g. mining, dam and plantation.
